F5M-Millionaires-Club, And Friends!

F5M Millionaires Club has been around for almost two decades. Thousands of people World Wide have taken advantage of "This one of a Kind"- "Wealth Building System!" It has a uniqueness all it's own, and is Trade Marked. I had come across this Club about this about fifteen years ago while searching the internet, and paid it no mind . I made a mistake!

Many, or should I say most; are unfamiliar with F5M ( Fortune 5 Minutes)- MC( Millionaires Club),
and the potential it has to build wealth, accumulate strength over time, and produce an unlimited supply of residual income. This Patented Wealth Building System  is the most unique system I feel, still on the market today. Mr. John Kielec  is the Founder and President of this history making Club; who resides in Canada!

At one time; a challenge was put out for a payment of $10,000.00 to any one who could prove their system did not work, or payout, as was announced. There were no takers-yet the skeptics still decided to be skeptical; so the ante was upped to $100,000.00. This was all that was needed to close the mouths of the cynical.

F5M-MC has three different levels that anyone with no understanding of Business, or Wealth Building, can join in at, and become a success....

Level 1- Bronze- a $5.00 investment
Level 2- Silver- a $49.00 investment
Level 3-Gold- a $199.00 investment

These are all a onetime payment, and you are a member for life! Each level has it's own significance and complements the other levels. A person has the option to start at whatever level they choose, and do what ever they want with their Business. Of course we all know; if you want your business to grow you have to do the work to make the money. So, if there are expectations to join and just sit on your hind quarters, you will not make any money.

F5M-MC also has a program called Gold Booster, which is also unique in itself; addition income and advertising is given to members who pay for this Service or Plan. Also, this is where your up-line can become your down-line, and vice-versa; which gives everyone equal opportunity to make money.

Another bonus is (30 DAAP) and is paid in-house advertising for thirty days and Guarantees Prospects for the Business Builder, through a unique advertising system that F5M-Mc Uses. You get Guaranteed sign-ups: and if they don't fill that promise within that 30 days, you get a portion or ratio of your advertising investment back. This is a win-win  opportunity for everyone. This is the way to do Business wouldn't you agree?

There are a couple of other opportunities linked directly with F5M-MC, which are WTIA
( Wealth Team International Association ) Run by Mr.Rick Matthews, another Canadian Entrepreneur. Also ( TPOOI4L), "The Power Of One Income 4 Life" which is run by another successful Entrepreneur Mr. Maurice Bernier, and also one of my Mentors . These individuals have known each other for decades , and are friends.

"I find that an opportunity that has been around this long is definitely credible, works well, and delivers the goods as promised!"

These three Unique Opportunities complement each other in a Wealth System that is even today, "Virtually Unmatched!" All of these opportunities can also be used and joined separately, if chosen. To learn more about these opportunities, click on the links in this post and come join us on a win-win Ride to Financial Freedom!

"Why I Love Network Marketing!"

Back In the early 90's I was confronted with an opportunity to start a home based business. Not many people were familiar with the potential of a home business back then, and most had good paying jobs, and constant employment. So why would they do something like that?

There were some very profitable one's that I can remember, such as; Melaleuca, Shaklee, Amway, Avon and several others. Most of these Networking Businesses are still around today, and highly profitable for many people. Just think of the transition, of door to door sales, into the age of the information highway. The ability to sustain, grow, and develop into mega corporations that have help hundreds of thousands, and even millions of people to become financially free, or make a couple of extra hundred dollars a month; Is a feat worth honoring!

My Mother had an Avon Business back in my younger years (70's era), and she really loved putting in the time and effort to help others, and supply them the latest Perfumes', Jewelry and such. I remember she would always inform me of the latest cologne for men. Of course since she loved me so much, she would buy me some herself, so I would smell good when we went to church, or I went to school. "She was pretty tactful in her sales approach!" The Products were top of the line, and at a reasonable cost as many of them are today!

So my experience with some of these earlier Entrepreneurs was a great asset to me, and my way of viewing Business and Success. These people were different than many others I knew; They seemed to have a spirit about them, and seemed to know something everyone else didn't. I found that by hanging around and observing them, I was becoming like them. It was like a special family of kind, generous, loving individuals, who would go the extra mile to help someone in need.

This community of Independent Business Owners were unique to say the least. Yet, most of them are like you and I, regular people. But what was it that made them so different? As I kept hanging around these people; all of a sudden it hit me! These people are following their dreams and goals in life. They are creating the lifestyle they WANT to live. They're not just going through the motions of life, and circumstance, they are purposefully living their lives. These people were genuinely passionate about what they were doing!

I found myself being more relate-able with these people, and becoming just like them; passionate, purposeful, relate-able, and having more of a serving mentality. I was one of them now, and there was no turning back. There was nothing back there for me! I could only go forward........

The excitement that is generated when hanging around these people is like no other. I've been to countless functions with a few, too Tens of Thousands at once. I have shared in the victories, and I have shared in the defeats, I have walked the stages in recognition, and cheered the victories of others. We have become a family of like minded people, who care about others, and love to see others win.

Network Marketing has defined in many ways the New Leader! These leaders are like no other; simply because they are not appointed-their leadership is deserved. They've decided to take responsibility to become a leader through their own effort. A servant leader. This is also one of my passions and purposes in life. I find that most networking leaders are better equipped and have better values, and principles, than most appointed ones.

The main point that I am conveying here is; this excitement, these principle led people, these dream followers, these givers of hope, and prosperity, are unmatched in my opinion, in most communities and organizations of the world. We seem to be a great shining light in a world that needs a helping hand; and this my friends is "Why I Love Network Marketing"

Shine your light!

Veterans Day : Role Call to Honor

Lest we not forget! A day which is more honorable than most.....
As veterans day is upon us, you will notice many wearing their honors, medals, ribbons, and other military uniform. These men and women of our armed services hold me to a deep respect for them, and my fellow man. As a Paratrooper in the Army I witnessed first hand the "selfless service" of these unique individuals.

Unlike most; these are the champions of freedom for humanity. A necessity in a world gone bad.
No one really like's war, yet, there is a need for protection from evil. This is not to be taken lightly!
War is a form of rebellion against the principle of Good,Truth,Love and all virtues of the Most High.

These proud members of our Armed Forces have your freedom on their minds constantly; along with their families and friends. We hear of the heroic sacrifices almost daily; and sometimes they are put on the 2nd and 3rd page of the newspaper and networks muffled by trivial nonsense and menial subject. Do we really know what they sacrifice for us, and do we even really care?

These are well disciplined individuals like no other. They are well versed in leadership, relationship building, construction, motivation, winning, protection, offensive maneuvering, defense, planning, transportation, law, social development, self discipline, and the such.

These Human Beings even give us the freedom to be whatever we choose to be here in America, even if it's not virtuous. Let us not complain of our unfortunate circumstance, yet, let us appreciate what we do have, and thank all of those we see in uniform. These are courageous among men, these are unrivaled in task, adventure, pain, misery, fear, loss, and all the other things that war is.

How do we show this appreciation; possibly buy them a cup of coffee, perhaps just listen to them, give them a hug, tell them you love them, help their families, shake their hand, look them in the eye and say: thank you for your service! Be genuine, be thankful, show you really care for them. We should always support, honor, and respect these individuals, as many times they have a job to do, and have no choice.

Many of these people come from Military Service into the market place, and become business owners, top positional leaders in industry, the hold quality positions in their jobs. Not many people can compete with this person in the market place; due to their awareness of life and it's significance. These people view the World totally different than 98% of others in the world; and have an extreme appreciation of the simple things in life.

They have sacrificed everything, they have given up all, and still would rather serve you than the other way around. Let us do our duty, as we are all brothers and sisters of mankind, and show them the respect they deserve. Let's add value to them: because they first added value to us.

Bless all those who served!, Harold Lamma

A Sense of Urgency.....

With the advent of social unrest rising worldwide; as sense of urgency is sweeping across the world. Opposition to traditional thinking and action, is being challenged by people who feel they are not being heard,  or listened too for that matter, by the (establishment).

The important things of life seem to be out of reach in the minds of the leadership in power.
The younger generations are truly concerned; with good measure, about the issues of integrity in the leadership of these World Nations. To say the least; the ball has been dropped, and also hidden from view.

The mindset of humanity is becoming a great burden on all forms of social interaction.
Have we let the EGO take hold of total existence; so force, greed and lust becomes the righteousness of evil? I would hope not !!!

It's time for a great awakening to happen everywhere, with all peoples of this Earth!

Only real change can be embraced, "with a virtuous heart", let's not kid ourselves into thinking otherwise!

Yet, there is always hope, and as I witnessed first hand at the Value Voters Summit in Washington,D.C. three weeks ago, new young leaders are taking that stand to fill in, where Adults have decided to "forget doing the right thing!"

'Thought Crimes,' HR 1955 Passed With 404 Votes Submit, Ye Citizens, Silently to State Murder

'Thought Crimes,' HR 1955 Passed With 404 Votes
Submit, Ye Citizens, Silently to State Murder

by Jeff Knaebel
by Jeff Knaebel
INTRODUCTION
The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed HR 1955, titled the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007. It was passed with 404 votes in favor.
A close reading within an historical context — keeping especially in mind the Patriot Act and the Military Commissions Act of 2006 and Presidential Executive Orders, pursuant to which the government has engaged in massive surveillance of its own citizens, as well as detentions, extraordinary renditions, assassinations, and torture — leads me to the following conclusions:
  • This is a "Thought Crime" bill of the type so often discussed in an Orwellian context.
  • It specifically targets the civilian population of the United States.
  • It defines "Violent Radicalization" as promoting any belief system that the government considers to be extremist.
  • "Homegrown Terrorism" and "Violent Radicalization" are defined as thought crimes.
  • Since the bill does not provide a specific definition of extremist belief system, it will be whatever the government at any given time deems it to be.
A few extracts of the Bill are presented below to show you its tone or "flavor."
"(2) VIOLENT RADICALIZATION- The term `violent radicalization' means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system… to advance political, religious, or social change."
SECTION 899B. FINDINGS.
"(3) The Internet has aided in facilitating violent radicalization, ideologically based violence, and the homegrown terrorism process in the United States by providing access to broad and constant streams of terrorist-related propaganda to United States citizens."
"(6) The potential rise of self radicalized, unaffiliated terrorists domestically cannot be easily prevented through traditional Federal intelligence or law enforcement efforts, and requires the incorporation of State and local solutions."
Section 899D of the bill establishes a Center for the Study of Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism in the United States. This will be an institution affiliated with the Department of Homeland Security. It will study and determine how to detain thought criminals.

THIS LEGISLATION ENDS THE POSSIBILITY OF A CULTURE OF REASON.
It is an attempt at legislative lobotomy of conscience. It aims to eviscerate ethical sensibilities of an entire culture.
Having usurped the power of war and peace, life and death, the Corporatocracy now bludgeons even the thought of speaking for conscience. This is State murder of the mind.
It is just too awesomely obscene for words. It exceeds not only the scope of my vocabulary, but my imagination as well.
The minions and hired agents of politicians are free to murder, rape and pillage on government hire using our money, but to imagine alternatives to them and the degraded, psychopathic political "leaders" who design and perpetrate these atrocities is legislated as a thought crime!
This is the legislated, politically promulgated end of man as a thinking, self-directed being. Surely this must be the outer limit of "positive law," that is, statutory laws passed by "Lawmakers."
It further entrenches the Power Elite as separate from and above their "subjects." It clearly demonstrates the paranoid delusions of the Establishment, pursuant to which it legislates a massive defense mechanism to protect itself from the populace that it subjugates.
I use these terms deliberately, because the so-called freedom of the vote has turned out to be a big con game. It is only the "freedom" to choose one set of thieves over the other. The blue suits or the red suits… all of them manufactured suits of the corporations.
Following in the train of this legislation will doubtless be internal travel documents, neighborhood snoops and spies, rewards granted for turning in politically incorrect thought criminals, mass civilian detention centers — in short, the whole totalitarian control mechanism that we associate with the SS, KGB and other code words of criminal regimes. There will be "re-programming / rehabilitation" centers to correct errant free thinkers.
Take note that the Department of Homeland Security already has more than 750,000 persons on its watch list. For a glimpse of past as prologue, read Solzhenitsyn.
Who Will Be Thought Police and Under What Standards?
Who will define radical thought, and by what standards? For example, how about the reported millions who believe that 9-11 was an inside job, citing a mass of evidence from eye witnesses, physicists, engineers, and recorded statements such as "We pulled it," essentially a confession by the building's owner of the planned demolition of Building 7?
Will the writings of John Perkins in Confessions of An Economic Hit Man and The Secret History of The American Empire be thought crimes? Will this very essay be a thought crime?
What about Operation Northwoods, pursuant to which the Joint Chiefs of the United States planned for innocent people to be shot on American streets, for boats carrying passengers to be sunk on the high seas, for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched within the country, and for other depraved acts conceived in the minds of government-hired psychopaths? Previously top-secret documents about this were released on 18 November 1997 and can be researched at www.wikipedia.org. Evidently, members of the Establishment will be permitted to engage in thought crime.
Soon enough, we will all be killing each other, and the statement of Mohandas Gandhi will be borne out: "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."
Will thinking about cleansing the national soul of our atrocities — of Iraq, Guantanamo, Abu Gharib, the advanced plans underway to nuke Iran, the crimes of Blackwater murderers, the government's domestic coercion and violence — be "Thought Crimes?"
Will it be thought crime to conceive of a domestic Truth and Reconciliation Commission pursuant to which high government officials are brought to book for crimes against humanity?
Will it be "radicalization" to think of alternatives to a government of, by, and for the Corporatocracy, which accumulates its vast wealth through the blood money of endless war?
What about imagination-consideration of a non-coercive society of free individuals acting in voluntary cooperation, what is commonly referred to as anarchy?
Will it be radical to conceive of preventing the Cheney-Bush cabal from launching WWIII and the incineration of earth through a false flag operation against Iran?
WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF OUR GOVERNMENT
BECAUSE WE PAY FOR IT
It has taken me too many years — and too much income tax — to come to the awful realization that these "public servants" are only hired mouthpieces and puppets of the Money Powers who operate behind the scenes to orchestrate war, to coordinate the Military Industrial Complex, the Homeland Security Complex, the NGO Help-The-Poor Complex, the "Third World Corporate Development" Complex. In short, the Exploitation Complex.
The roaring inside me is about the self-disgust at living by the whims of Nice Government Men and their intellectual and financial pimps — men who, for just one example, can force starvation upon Indian farmers by their money printing press maneuvers to save their own hides from the overreach of blind greed. Men like those in Goldman Sachs who have the power to bail out their own companies and pay billions in bonuses while manipulating currencies such that basic food staples become priced out of reach of the rural Indian poor.
Let our excuse for the sorry state in which we find ourselves be not ignorance, for history is quite clear to those who would study. I quote founding father James Madison, "History records that money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible, to maintain their control over governments, by controlling money and its issuance." A more honest excuse would be our own greed and laziness. The quick buck. Buy now, pay later.
Statement of Conscientious Objection
HR 1955 as recently passed by the House of Representatives is in effect a Thought Crime Prevention Bill. This action simply stops my mind. It cannot be absorbed. This ultimate Police State freezes my imagination.
This newest version of draconian legislation on thought control is where Jeff Knaebel says enough is enough. Speaking truth to Power, I say, I am not your puppet. I declare my self-ownership. Come and get me if you wish. If you wish to own my body, you will have to imprison it. I am breaking the paper chains by which I have allowed you to enslave me.
Imagine with me for a moment (it may not yet be a thought crime). I say to Dick Cheney, "I refuse to obey. Come and get me, boss. Come alone — I'll not run, and I am unarmed and harmless. Meet me in yonder open field." Standing in front of him, I remove my shirt, challenging him to do likewise. To prove his manhood equal, he follows along until we stand facing each other naked in the open field. I ask, "Now, what is your business with me?"
You see, it is all a mind game. The government is powerless before our non-cooperation. Of course, although an abstraction, it is a heavily armed abstraction. This argues for the right to bear arms and a well-armed citizenry in the American tradition. But if the mind behind the gun is cowardly and subdued, the gun is of no use. I suggest that nonviolent civil disobedience has proven to be a more effective method of regaining control of our lives. There would be significant loss of life, but much less than with an armed struggle.
Is murder an act that involves the human conscience? Can any other hear the voice of my inner conscience? Then, how can any such other claim the power to "represent" me in choosing to kill? How can such other "represent" me in determining which of my thoughts is criminal?
To say, or even to imply, that these people "represent" me cannot be described as an obscenity. It is an absurdity. Really, I should laugh. Instead it generates a roaring inside me — the inner roar of a man who would be free.
THIS IS MY PLACE OF "LIVE FREE OR DIE."
One cannot deal with this except to speak out and be willing to put his life on the line. One must resist this legislation and this government, or else surrender his humanity and become a dead thing.
This is the place where the soles of my feet meet the path of Liberty. This is where Jeff Knaebel refuses to renew his "permission to live" identification documents pursuant to which Big Brother tracks him like an owned domestic animal. Any situation in which I am not free to leave means that my presence is by coercion or threat of coercion. If one cannot leave some "place" except by permission of the "owners" (passport), then he is a slave. To learn more about issues of expatriation and "man without a country," visit my website at www.statelessfreedom.org.
I was never the property even of my biological father, leave aside the absurdly stupid abstract concept of Nations — bounded by arbitrary lines drawn on maps — across which opposing armies of blood relations gun down the other.
My body is not the property of the U.S. Government. I will challenge the U.S. Government for ownership of my body, with my body itself. My mind will be forever free.
I did not ask for US citizenship, and I will not accept its rules even if forced upon me.
Any situation in which I am not free to leave means that my presence is by coercion or threat of coercion. If I cannot leave some "place" except by permission of the "owners" (passport), then I am a slave.
The US State does not own the land called America, and it does not own anybody who was born there or lives there.
No bureaucrat has the right to define who I am — and the murder of which other person I may be forced to finance — by his stamp upon some arbitrary piece of paper.
I belong to none, other than Almighty Creation.
I claim my freedom to respect the lives of others, as I would be respected. Freedom to do no harm, and to eschew violence. Freedom to express compassion in action. Freedom to support life. Freedom not to finance murder.
No other can hear the voice of my conscience, let alone "represent" it, or speak for it. My conscience will be muffled by no person and by no law. Nor will I ever knowingly aggress against another.
It Is Man's Duty To Love.
It now must be of the "tough love" variety. We must see clearly and face bravely the reality of what we continue to create for ourselves. We must take up tough ethical positions.
We have proved again and again, over spans of millennia, that any kind of violent revolution will only turn the wheel of violence another revolution, around and around.
If we will but cease to destroy, we may live. We cannot negotiate with melting glaciers. Perhaps we can negotiate with the storms of insatiable greed and desire raging within our own minds. Perhaps we can come out of our addiction to more, more and faster, faster.
The revolution we must undertake to save ourselves is a revolution within our own minds toward loving kindness, truth, and respect for life.
To those who would accept a legislated statutory slavery, I say — may your shackles bind you without too much pain. May you go quietly into oblivion, and may you not burden me with the memory that you ever stood a watch with me on Spaceship Earth.
If you are interested in further exploration of personal statelessness, stop by and visit www.statelessfreedom.org.

It 's time to understand what Network Marketing IS and can do for YOU!

by Harold Lamma on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 5:15pm
The Industry of Network Marketing is growing bigger and faster than anytime in history! The old mindsets are being dis proven as multitudes are gaining their financial freedoms. The few pioneers who decided and acted on faith, are the ones who benefited the most; setting the standards for an industry that millions feared because of ignorance and misinformation.
These pioneers have changed the way industry leads, and makes money; By bringing out the deepest desires of what people really want in life.
Now more than ever; an emerging army of new generation entrepreneurs are leading an industry into bigger and better heights of accomplishment.
These "rascals" have broken down barriers in thinking, leadership, action, and production, forcing traditional business structures to redefine their priorities and effectiveness.
The world is finally taking notice that their way of doing business will have to be restructured to retain their market share. While millions are fleeing the traditional job market to start their own home businesses, many fortune 500 companies will be forced to change their businesses to keep quality people. Of course we all know that "knowledge is power" only when applied. And when more and more people see and hear of these incredible opportunities that are just waiting for them, they will see that freedom is only achieved through a conscious effort to do for ones- self and family.
Ya just gotta love, Network Marketing!! God Bless!!!

The Social Leader

A Wisdom Society

by: Oliver DeMille Friday, July 15th, 2011
By Oliver DeMille
wisdom green sign 300x225 A Wisdom Society“A powerful tide is surging across much of the world today, creating a new, often bizarre environment in which to work, play, marry, raise children, or retire. In this bewildering context, businessmen swim against highly erratic economic currents; politicians see their ratings bob wildly up and down.Value systems splinter and crash, while the lifeboats of family, church, and state are hurled madly about.”
—Alvin Toffler, The Third Wave

1-Sources of Modern Conflict

We live in a society deeply troubled and increasingly distressed, partly because we have refused to accept a definition of what constitutes “truth”.
For some, True is what is sincerely believed; for others, True is what is scientifically proven. Some believe that the True is what works, and others define Truth as that which sells.
One solution is to substitute Wisdom for Truth. Can’t we all agree that, whatever sources and methods will give us ultimate truth, we can certainly learn wisdom from many (perhaps most) sources?
From ancients to moderns, our sages have urged us on a pursuit of wisdom. Stephen Covey recommends that people make a lifetime study of the great “wisdom literature,” a profound term for the classics and great books of human history. Indeed, the idea of wisdom literature narrows the classics that must be read and simultaneously broadens the list of books that should be considered “great.”
Plato considered wisdom the ruler of all other virtues, and Socrates dedicated his life to showing that no men were entirely wise. He said that humility is necessary for wisdom, and that only God is truly wise. Both the Greeks and the Hebrews were seekers of wisdom. Sophocles wrote, “Wisdom is the supreme part of happiness,” and Aristotle agreed.
Interestingly, as Mortimer Adler points out:
“Wisdom is more frequently and extensively the subject of discussion in the ancient and medieval than in the modern books. The ancients seem to have…a greater interest in understanding what wisdom is and how it can be gained.”
We may well have lost much wisdom simply because it is not a priority in modern times. Is it any wonder that we don’t find what we aren’t even seeking?  We don’t begin to approach the ideal that we never aspire to.
“In the tradition of the great books, the moderns usually assert their superiority over the ancients in all the arts and sciences. They seldom claim superiority in wisdom. With the centuries, far from increasing, wisdom may be lost.”
A unique and potent feature of wisdom is that it “cannot be misused”—unlike art, science, technology, leadership skills, knowledge, courage, loyalty, belief and power. All of these have at times been used for destructive or narcissistic goals, but any misuse of wisdom is patently un-wise, and therefore a counterfeit.10 Real wisdom is always, by definition, used positively—wisely.
Art, science, religion, mathematics—all celebrate wisdom, and all profess to seek wisdom. Yet few textbooks or academic manuals make any claim to it. Modern scholars are not expected to be wise. They are instead asked to be expert, focused, precise and prolific, among other things—but seeking wisdom is often a dangerous tact in many modern academic settings.
And our culture does little to learn wisdom from its elderly, despite the fact that this was the major source of wisdom for most people in history.

2-The Fall and Decline of a Primary Value: Wisdom

Some historical societies have placed duty as the highest goal, while others emphasized righteousness, and still others strength or progress. All of these require wisdom. For example, to paraphrase Aristotle, if a society’s definition of duty, righteousness, strength or progress is noble, then seeking duty, righteousness, progress or strength is laudable.11 But if the society’s definition of these things is bad, then seeking them is mere “cleverness.”
A society like ours that frequently puts success as the highest priority needs a wise definition of success. Otherwise, seeking success is merely selfishness.
A wise definition of success necessarily includes genuine happiness.  In other words, part of wisdom is prudence, which includes the ability and habit of seeing how the lessons of the past and events now occurring will most likely impact the future and allow us to provide for it.  Another vital part of wisdom is knowledge, and still another is understanding.
Aristotle went a step further: “…it is impossible to be practically wise without being good…”
Socrates says that no talents, strengths, abilities or virtues are of any real value absent of wisdom. Wisdom strengthens every other strength, and its absence nullifies or at least weakens any supposed strength. Socrates says that “…everything the soul attempts, under the guidance of wisdom ends in happiness.”  Aristotle applies this same thing to nations.
Wisdom is the indispensable element of success—personal, national, societal.
Likewise, for those who see progress as highest goal of society, a wise definition and application of progress is needed. Progressives at times forget this, as do those seeking success. While some have defined progress in terms of economic justice, others have put it more in terms of political liberty.
The American founding ideals combined these in a complexly considered yet ultimately simple formula: All people must have equal opportunity before the law by being treated as part of the same class.
The innate differences in individuals and their choices preclude an exact equality of results, but equality of opportunity before the law is the starting point of real freedom.   The goal of the American framers was thus a truly wise government.
In our time, unfortunately, the goal of wisdom has been largely lost and is certainly undervalued and seldom discussed. It may be assumed by some, or even many, but it has lost its place as the first and most prominent value in our society.
Societies that once held wisdom as the highest value only to lose it later include Athens, ancient Israel, the Roman Republic, and Britain, among others. When they lost the central priority of wisdom, they soon lost their place as world leader. And it shouldn’t be forgotten that the wisdom priority was part of what brought them each to power in the first place.
One key to overcoming this modern slide away from wisdom is to remember what government is really for. Aristotle taught that “…the state is the last stage in the development of social life which begins with the family” and therefore all government actions can be easily, and effectively, judged by how they positively impact the family.
Sometimes a return to the most basic principles is the height of wisdom.
Aristotle says that the study of truth is “…in one way hard, in another way easy.”  It is hard when we want to know every detail of truth, easy when we simply seek to find and apply wise principles.

3-An Indispensable Element of Success

What if we turned the modern debate between science, art, politics, conservatives, liberals and all the various “-isms” away from ultimate truth and focused instead on wisdom. A return to studying wisdom would likely coincide with what Covey called the replacement of the Success approach with a renewal of the Character ethic.
Are we a society obsessed with noticeable achievement or dedicated to meaningful contribution? Do we mostly value marketability or quality?
These naturally separate into competing categories. The first category, called Great, includes wisdom, character, quality and meaningful contribution. Against this is pitted the second category, Good, which includes the positive but lesser values of success, marketability, notability and achievement.
In business parlance, the good is the enemy of the great.
Which is more important to our future: a society arguing about truth or a society seeking to learn and apply wisdom? Do we need a nation of people who want to be seen as leaders, or do we need a society of people who lead?
Too often the language of modern experts is like the following talk show parody: “All brontosauruses are thin at one end; much, much thicker in the middle; and then thin again at the far end.”  This is a factual statement, but it’s not very helpful. You can prove it using science, but knowing this truth doesn’t accomplish much.
Another example: “Even if World War I consisted of nothing but a very, very large number of quarks in a very, very complicated pattern of motion, no insight is gained by describing it this way.”
These ridiculous examples are a lot like the reality, however. Steven Pinker wrote:
“Social psychologists have amply documented that people have a powerful urge to do as their neighbors do. When unwitting subjects are surrounded by confederates of the experimenter who have been paid to do something odd, many or most will go along.
They will defy their own eyes and call a long line ‘short’ or vice versa, nonchalantly fill out a questionnaire as smoke pours out of a heating vent, or suddenly strip down to their underwear for no apparent reason [just because everyone else in the room is doing so].”
Certainly politics frequently proves this sad reality.
Truth alone is limited. It needs wisdom to make any sense.Indeed, only with wisdom can we actually understand truth when we find it. Yet we have emphasized and idealized truth for over a century in modern society—leading to stagnation in our political and national progress. Those on the right have tended to seek truth for success, while their counterparts on the left have sought truth for progress.
Both have achieved much, but we have reached a point where both are failing to deliver solutions for our major challenges.

4- A Solution

Today we need a widespread paradigm shift to a Wisdom society—a people diligently seeking wisdom.
Does it make any sense in our increasingly post-modern society to keep engaging in the debates between science, art, religion, conservative, progressive, socialist, libertarian, hawk or dove? These dialogues have been in a rut for decades.
If real progress in such arguments seemed likely, we would of course keep talking. But America is increasingly divided into like-thinking cliques that reinforce shared views and attack everything about alternative perspectives. These voluntary factions frequently isolate themselves from competing viewpoints and increase their adamant views.
This enclave style of thinking is the norm in our current world, and the Internet has drastically exacerbated the problem.
There are fortunately some exceptions to this trend. The rise of political independents may be the rescue of the current e-closing of the American mind.  It also remains to be seen how the Millennial generation (born between 1984 and 2001) will combine social media with political involvement—they might choose a more inclusive, open and dialogue-oriented approach than Boomers and Gen Xers.
Given their generational values and tendencies, this could well be the case.
In the meantime, how can we resurrect a belief in the importance of wisdom? So far wisdom hasn’t been a driving force on social media. But then neither has it been a major priority in modernism itself. Our schools seldom emphasize teaching us to be wise, and few business, government, religious, media or other major institutions seem committed to such a course either.
Despite notable exceptions, in general wisdom is a lost priority, like fertile soil or turntable records. A few people care a great deal about these things, it is true, but the society has moved on.
Putting the goal of wisdom behind us is a major mistake. Wisdom should be the ultimate purpose of every school, every American teacher, every business and social leader, and a high priority for the rest of us. A national revival of the search for wisdom is long overdue. Only the incredibly naive claim to be wise, but the free nations of history were made up of citizens deeply committed to the continual search for wisdom.
We must also recognize and utilize wisdom when we do find it. Tocqueville noted that while Americans were less formally educated than the European elite of his day, they were constantly learning and prone to apply their knowledge in practical ways.
Indeed, advanced formal education is at times a roadblock to creative thinking.
Ultimately wisdom is about more than mere knowing—it requires doing. We must apply wisdom, or it isn’t really wisdom.
This is true both in domestic and international affairs. Washington has lost its reputation for wisdom across America and around the globe. Our increasing dependence on experts since the 1950s has even reduced the role of parents as the wise ones in the home. Wisdom is undervalued at nearly all levels of of our modern world.
Our society is deeply in need of a rebirth of interest in wisdom. We talk incessantly of things like Success, Talent, Progress and Getting Ahead. We trust IQ, promote EQ, and try to stay well-versed on the latest theory of personality types. Regular citizens across the nation keep an eye on fashion, health, technological, parenting, architectural, entertainment and cultural trends.
We glorify high test scores, prestigious associations and personal status symbols.
But we undersell, or simply ignore, the indispensable element of lasting success and truly progressing society—wisdom. We need a healthy dose of optimism in our society, and perhaps nothing would merit more optimism than a national paradigm shift to A Wisdom Society.

Success and the Seven Wonders: Changing the Social Security Position!

Success and the Seven Wonders: Changing the Social Security Position!

Changing the Social Security Position!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
June 17, 2011
AARP Has Not Changed Its Position on Social Security
Reaffirms that program must be strengthened to maintain critical benefits
WASHINGTON – AARP CEO A. Barry Rand offered the following statement in response to inaccurate media stories on the association's policy on Social Security:
"Let me be clear – AARP is as committed as we've ever been to fighting to protect Social Security for today's seniors and strengthening it for future generations. Contrary to the misleading characterization in a recent media story, AARP has not changed its position on Social Security.
"First, we are currently fighting some proposals in Washington to cut Social Security to reduce a deficit it did not cause. Social Security should not be used as a piggy bank to solve the nation's deficit. Any changes to this lifeline program should happen in a separate, broader discussion and make retirement more secure for future generations, not less.
"Our focus has always been on the human impact of changes, not just the budget tables. Which is why, as we have done numerous times over the last several decades, AARP is engaging our volunteer Board to evaluate any proposed changes to Social Security to determine how each might – individually or in different combinations – impact the lives of current and future retirees given the constantly changing economic realities they face.
"Second, we have maintained for years – to our members, the media and elected officials – that long term solvency is key to protecting and strengthening Social Security for all generations, and we have urged elected officials in Washington to address the program's long-term challenges in a way that's fair for all generations.
"It has long been AARP's policy that Social Security should be strengthened to provide adequate benefits and that it is sufficiently financed to ensure solvency with a stable trust fund for the next 75 years. It has also been a long held position that any changes would be phased in slowly, over time, and would not affect any current or near term beneficiaries.
"AARP strongly opposed a privatization plan in 2005, and continues to oppose this approach, because it would eliminate the guarantee that Social Security provides and reduce benefits, and we are currently fighting proposals to cut Social Security to pay the nation's bills.
"Social Security is a critically important issue for our members, their families and Americans of all ages, especially at a time when many will have less retirement security than previous generations with fewer pensions, less savings and rising health care costs. And, as we have been for decades, we will continue to protect this bedrock of lifetime financial security for all generations of Americans."

Now Your Speaking My Language

June 14, 2011 - Vol. 4 Issue 15
Now You're Speaking My Language
In his best-selling book The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts, Gary Chapman defines love languages as the "five ways people speak and understand emotional love." Take a look at the abbreviated definitions, and see if you can identify your love language.
Words of Affirmation: Words matter. This person treasures hearing, "I love you." Honest compliments and praise mean a great deal, and insults or harsh words are taken to heart.
Quality Time: This person wants your undivided attention. The gift of your time is worth more than any material present you could give.
Receiving Gifts: From trinkets and flowers to diamond rings and season tickets, this person feels loved when you present them with a token of your affection.
Acts of Service: Doing household chores or helping out in the home office is, to this person, the equivalent of saying, "I adore you."
Physical Touch: A gentle hand on the shoulder, a peck on the cheek, a warm embrace or simply sitting beside this person makes them feel loved.

Are You Building SUSTAINABLE Success?by Darren Hardy
This past week my wife Georgia and I spent some time touring the 116-year-old Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C. This 175,000-square-foot home on 8,000 acres still emanates its founder's--George Washington Vanderbilt's--illustrious grandeur... and it remains (remarkably) privately owned.
Of course my inquiring SUCCESS mind wanted to figure out how. Although much of the robber-baron wealth of his grandfather Cornelius Vanderbilt (earned through shipping and railroads in early 1800s) has dissipated through his heirs, Biltmore Estate continues to thrive because it was founded on a vision of sustainability. While many of the Gilded Age estates have been reduced to rubble, taken over by the state or sold to nonprofit entities, Biltmore remains a privately owned, for-profit working estate.
Sustainability is the capacity to endure; to be diverse and productive over time; exhibiting the potential for long-term maintenance and well-being.
George Vanderbilt's vision wasn't only to build the largest private home in America (which it is still today 100+ years later) but to also have it be self-supporting.
In addition to the grand estate, George also had built the Biltmore School, scientific forestry programs, poultry farms, cattle farms, hog farms and a dairy. He also built the Biltmore Village for all those who would work on the estate, complete with a church.
Today the enterprise is not only a profitable historical tourist attraction but also a worldwide...

Starting a Business Over 50

Starting A

Business over 50

Here are 5 franchises that may be a good fit for older workers

franchises at 50+
We've all seen statistics on how new businesses tend to crash and burn, which is probably the last thing you want to think about if you're over age 50 and thinking of going from employee to entrepreneur.

— Forest Woodward/Getty Images
Not that the appetite for risk disappears at age 51, but most people starting a business at this point in their lives are in it for more than the adventure. Being your own boss is a satisfying concept. Control of your destiny is another. And you may have dreams of padding the retirement income and having a profit engine to pass on to your children.

For many dream chasers, opening a franchise may be a smart career move, allowing them to open a business and draw on the experience of those who have already run it.
Doug Schadle, the CEO of Rhino 7 Franchise Development Corp., a franchise consultancy in Apex, N.C., believes that the odds of failure for a franchise are low. "If you follow the system the franchisor has set up for you, you're probably going to make a lot more than by trusting the stock market," he says.
There are lots of glowing reports of franchise success, but statistics are undependable. It is still possible to fail, which Schadle readily acknowledges. "Even the best-designed business models will not always work for everyone," he says. "Buying a franchised business is a risk that will require real effort to be successful."
Local newspapers periodically report on lawsuits and squabbles between franchisees and their parent firms. UnhappyFranchisee.com posts gripes about scams and rip-offs. All of which is why nobody should make the decision to franchise lightly.
"There is a false expectation out there ... that all you have to do is turn the key, open the door to the business and the magic will happen," says Joel Libava, who runs a website called the Franchise King and advises people who are thinking of buying a franchise.
"The magic can happen — if you work really hard and choose the right opportunity," says Libava. "But there's no guarantee that just because there's a blueprint already in place, that you'll be successful."
So before you commit to a franchise, ask yourself three questions:
Is this business a good match for me?
Not every franchise is ideal for someone over 50. Issues of health and energy may arise.
Unless you're truly loaded, you're probably going to start out as an "owner-operator," meaning working long hours in a very hands-on way. There will be times when you're running a cash register, driving a truck, mopping a floor or doing whatever grunt work the business calls for.
At age 53, you may be up to going in at 4 a.m. because your manager didn't show. But is that something you'll want to be doing at 63, or 73?
Your goal will be to build your franchise business to a point where you're what's known as "owner-management": Your staff handles most of the details of running the show, leaving you free to tend to the big issues, as well as spend time with the grandkids or run off to Europe. It can take a long time to reach this goal.
So if you're looking at a franchise, don't forget to consider how the business might grow and evolve as your own life changes.
Is this an appropriate risk?
Always keep in mind that you'll be risking money from your retirement nest egg. If your franchise goes under and takes your money with it, will you have enough left to live comfortably?
A company that is just beginning to franchise itself is obviously more of a gamble than one celebrating its 40th anniversary. If you go with a relatively new company, you could be buying into a flawed business model that burns through your investment funds and leaves you on the street.
An existing franchise that has been operating successfully in a location for years will be much easier to run than one that you are opening yourself and doesn't yet have trusted and competent employees or a customer base. But an existing, successful franchise may also be more expensive.
Do I have enough money?
It's not uncommon to invest $50,000, $100,000 or much more when buying your own Subway, Great Clips, UPS Store, Ace Hardware or one of the thousands of other franchises out there. And you'll probably need extremely good credit as well. Not everyone gets to play in the franchise game. And if you do, choose well.
Here are five franchises that owners consider friendly for 50-plus.

Your Online Reputation!

Online Reputation: 5 Ways You're Offending Online Customers

Kevin Gibbons
online-reputation-failsIf your business has a web presence, then your customers expect a certain level of online service – but are you alienating customers by failing to respond on Twitter or to blog post comments, forum posts, emails, or other online communications?
Customer Expectations
Although a number of companies have set up websites, many don't move beyond that first step online.
But once you have an online presence, your customers will increase their expectations accordingly.
They will expect you to respond rapidly to online communications. If you fail to do so because you're not monitoring the channel they use, then they will feel ignored and snubbed - they won't assume you simply don't know about their comments.
Here are five ways your online business could be failing to deliver.
You Don't Respond on Twitter
Many people use Twitter to complain about problems they've experienced with a company, and they aren't just sounding off to their friends.
It's simply accepted that large brands will be monitoring for mentions and will respond to complaints made through this public platform.
Even if you don't actively use Twitter to engage with your customers, you should have searches set up for your brand. That way you can ask dissatisfied customers to direct message you their contact information and look into their complaints.
Actively responding online can turn a furious client into a satisfied one; it's amazing the difference a bit of proactive customer service can make.
No One's Replying to Comments Left on Your Blog
I understand that blogging can take time - you have to come up with ideas, write them up, proof them, and publish them.
But that's not where the work ends. If you've published an article on your website and a customer responds with a comment or question, it's important to respond.
After all, they have taken the time to read your thoughts – it's only polite that you do the same when you're using a sociable platform like a blog.
Make sure someone from your organization is responding to any questions raised; it's just good netiquette.
Otherwise it looks as though you think the online conversation should only flow one way, and that's not really the point of a blog.
They Get no Response to Emails
I recently purchased a toy for a friend's baby through a well-known supplier and then emailed to check it was safe for a newborn.
After a week, I'd still had no reply, so I phoned and was told: "Well, we get hundreds of emails, so we don't always get a chance to respond."
This is unforgivable in any sized brand. If you share an email address, you are inviting people to contact you that way and so you have to be ready to respond.
It tends to be smaller brands with less of a web presence that offend customers this way, but it's avoidable with just a couple of hours of extra admin time.
You Ignore Their Forum Comments
When the great online social revolution began, many larger businesses set up forums for their customers.
The idea was that customers would interact with each other, filling the pages with unique content and linking to interesting discussions, which is great for SEO.
But it didn't quite work out like that. Many such forums ended up filled with spam, inflammatory comments, and rants, so companies quickly shut them down or simply backed away.
However, if you do still have a forum, then you can't simply ignore it. Not only does a spam-filled mess of a forum harm your brand, you risk missing serious questions and complaints from real customers.
Either shut down your ineffective forum or ensure there is someone policing it, sparking genuine discussions and responding to real complaints, comments, and questions. Otherwise your visitors will feel ignored.
You Treat Online Communications Less Seriously Than Letters
This attitude seems particularly prevalent among smaller businesses. Because it's easier for people to complain via the web than by writing a letter, they take online complaints less seriously.
Perhaps 10 years ago this might have been understandable; important communications were still predominantly made by mail.
But this has changed over recent years and many people routinely communicate by email, whether it's casual or formal.
So don't assume that their query is less important than one made by post - any customer who has bothered to contact you expects a swift and serious response.
It's also a bad idea to ask them to put their complaint in a letter once they have contacted you by email - most people will feel that they are being ignored and delayed.

A Master @ Life !
From the Publisher

Through the experience of one man's journey, you can learn how to transform your life into a life that you love. Learn how to:
Overcome obstacles Live life to your full potential Move beyond the past Lead your own life Use the power that is hiding within Gain the promises of an abundant life Experience joy, peace, harmony and love Create great relationships Experience freedom
Harold L. Lamma II, shares his life experience and lessons learned to teach, inspire and motivate people to live the life they desire and receive the gifts of happiness, freedom, abundance, prosperity, joy and peace. He was encouraged by God to share his story for the purpose of making a difference for you. Harold is very passionate about helping others find truth, guiding people to higher levels of awareness and instilling belief that they too can have whatever they desire. In a world that is seemingly difficult, confusing, and unforgiving, many people succumb to being victims of their lives, being at the effect of circumstances rather than intentionally creating desired circumstances. Certainly circumstances arise in which we have no control; however, our response to those circumstances is essential to the joy, peace, and happiness we experience in our lives.
Many people reach a point in life where they find themselves stuck in a pattern that repeats itself over and over again. Just as history repeats itself, we inherently live our lives doing the same thing over and over and over again expecting different results. This is the definition of insanity. How can we stop this insane way of being? Harold believes in morality, ethics, integrity, doing the right thing, taking a stand for truth, learning from each experience and taking action to transform those ideals that hold us back. The chains that bind us are the burdens that we refuse to let go of keeping us from living a life of purpose, significance, success and realizing our full potential. This book is intended to help you lift those burdens of guilt, frustration, anger, loneliness, blame, contempt, hatred, judgment, etc. so that you can tap into the power within to live the most fulfilling life possible. You have your own unique answers hiding deep within you. Harold's writing style will have you inquiring and finding answers within yourself. He will help you find the answers you are looking for, touch your soul and move you to higher levels of achievement.
Harold has been successful in reaching executive levels in numerous network marketing companies, an inventor, spent 6 years in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper in special operations units, has participated in many specialized military schools reaching the level of expert infantryman. He is an accomplished student and completed the Primary Leadership Development Course through the U.S. Army at the top ranking of his class. Harold has experience in mentoring other business owners and life coaching. He has a natural ability to motivate, coach, and mentor people. He has mentored many entrepreneurs and helped them take their businesses to the next level in accomplishment and prosperity; and has coached many individuals in their own personal lives, having them experience their lives as being more pleasurable and successful. He has been recognized in the Who's Who for his business accomplishments, the National Honor Society for outstanding achievement and has received much recognition for his leadership and personal development. He is the founder of Lamma Enterprises, LLC and Foundation, a subsidiary of Lamma Enterprises, LLC, whose primary goal is to equip individuals, entrepreneurs and organizations with leadership and personal development tools that empower and enable them to lead from their hearts.

New Health Drink Delivers Lasting Energy and Helps You Concentrate at Work

New Health Drink Delivers Lasting Energy and Helps You Concentrate at Work
A California company has developed a line of products that seemingly ends the quest for an energy boosting solution that's both healthy and effective and, amazingly, seems to also improve people's ability to concentrate and perform better at work.
The company, FRS, initially set out to create a line of drinks and chews for athletes to boost energy and performance, as well as support immune system.
FRS stands for Free Radical Scavenger.  Free radicals are unstable molecules that move freely through the body and bond with other molecules in healthy cells, damaging chromosomes, enzymes, cell membranes and mitochondria through oxidization (the same process that makes iron rust).
The most damaging free radicals are produced within the cell's mitochondria.  Believe it or not, exercise can actually speed up this process by as much as 200%. These added free radicals likely can't be quelled by our inherent antioxidant defenses, especially with today's sub-par diets.  Instead they damage our cell systems resulting in decreased energy levels, accelerated aging and decreased mental performance.
That's where FRS comes in. FRS combines some of the most powerful antioxidants found in nature with other key vitamins and metabolic enhancers. The most important ingredient is Quercetin, a powerful antioxidant found in the skins of grapes, apples and vegetables that has known anti-inflammatory effects. FRS's patented formula of Quercetin and green tea extracts promote thermogenesis, which increases the metabolic rate and helps the body burn excess carbohydrates and fat.
When the company's product was tested in a double-blind clinical study conducted by Pepperdine University, athletes who received FRS performed significantly better in timed trials than those receiving a placebo.  In fact, the results were so significant that champion cyclist Lance Armstrong took note and actually joined the company's board of directors and today uses the product regularly as part of his daily nutritional regimen.
But FRS is not just for athletes. It works just as well for everyday people looking for a way to sustainably boost their energy levels without the caffeine and crash and to supplement their diets with a supercharged health formula.
Just recently, researchers conducted another clinical study with even more interesting results.  FRS and a non-Quercetin placebo were consumed daily by two groups of workers at a university over a 3-week period.  At the end of the study, the group that received the FRS with Quercetin reported a significant improvement in their level of work performance and their ability to concentrate.  They also reported reduced fatigue and reduced feelings of frustration compared to the placebo group.
A low-calorie energy drink that doesn't rely on caffeine, doesn't produce a "crash", and may actually improve mental performance? Sounds almost too good to be true.
The company is so confident their products work, that for just the cost of shipping, they're offering new customers a free sample to try so that you can see the results for yourself.
If you're curious about what this healthy energy feels like, you dont want to miss out on this special free introductory offer - click here
